Welcome to StoryInk. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.


1. Acceptance of Terms


By creating an account or using StoryInk ("Service"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.


2. Description of Service


StoryInk is an AI-powered animated video generation platform that allows users to create videos from text prompts, scripts, and other inputs. The Service includes video generation, social media publishing, and related features.


3. Account Registration


  • You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.

    • 4. Acceptable Use


    You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Generate content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others.
  • Use the Service for spam, phishing, or distributing malware.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond approved API usage.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without authorization.
  • Use the Service to generate deepfakes or misleading content intended to deceive.

    • 5. Content Ownership


  • Your Content: You retain ownership of the scripts, prompts, and other inputs you provide. You grant StoryInk a limited license to process your inputs solely to provide the Service.
  • Generated Content: Videos and other outputs generated by the Service are owned by you, subject to your plan's terms. You are responsible for how you use generated content.
  • AI Disclosure: Videos generated by StoryInk are AI-generated content. You agree to disclose this when required by applicable laws or platform policies.

    • 6. Plans and Billing


  • Free plans are subject to usage limits as described on our pricing page.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

    • 7. Lifetime Access Plans


  • "Lifetime Access" means access to the Service for as long as the Service is commercially offered by the Company in its current or successor form.
  • Lifetime plans include fixed monthly credit allotments that do not roll over.
  • The Company reserves the right to modify credit allotments and features with 90 days' written notice.
  • Lifetime plans are non-transferable and non-refundable after 60 days.

    • 8. Social Media Publishing


  • By connecting social media accounts, you authorize StoryInk to publish content on your behalf.
  • You are solely responsible for compliance with each platform's terms of service and community guidelines.
  • StoryInk is not liable for content removal, account suspension, or other actions taken by third-party platforms.

    • 9. Service Availability


  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

    • 10. Termination


  • You may delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
  • We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

    • 11. Limitation of Liability


    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STORYINK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.


    Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.


    12. Disclaimer of Warranties


    THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.


    13. Indemnification


    You agree to indemnify and hold StoryInk harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.


    14. Governing Law


    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.


    15. Dispute Resolution


    Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.


    16. Changes to Terms


    We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
